These precision lathes deliver precision metal parts in less time, thanks to its geared head. Their gear boxes provide large threading and feed capabilities with less gear changeovers. Hardened and ground gears are standard in the gearbox and headstock.
Each precision metal lathe comes with all the features that you are looking for, with halogen lights, a three jaw chuck, and steady and follow rests. The castings on these tool room lathes are Meehanite® castings with hardened and ground ways coated with Turcite-B® for long wear life and tighter turning tolerances. Each precision lathe comes standard with a factory installed Mitutoya DRO (digital read out) for making precise cuts.
